On 1st January 2026, High Chief Cyracus Chima Agbo (Igirigi Ndu 1 – Asadu Amagu na-ato) fulfilled the promise he made to Odoru youths during the warm reception held in honour of High Chief Barr. Anselm Ozioko (Ozoigbondu) on his appointment as Zonal Director, EFCC Ilorin at Odoru Nsukka on 30th December, 2025.
True to his word, High Chief Cyracus Chima Agbo released the sum of One Million Naira (₦1,000,000) as educational support for the 2026/2027 academic session. The funds were duly transferred into the Odoru Community Account, ensuring transparency and accountability.
The disbursement was carried out in the presence of notable stakeholders, including the Secretary General of Nsukka Town Federated Union, Hon. Cyprian Ugwuaku; the President of Nsukka Town Youth Association, Comr. Omeje Onyekachi Callistus; Hon. Paul Onah; the Odoru Elders led by Hon. Dr. Uche Eze; and the Chairman of the Ozoigbondu Reception Committee, among others.
The occasion was widely applauded as a huge success, reinforcing the integrity and commitment of High Chief Cyracus Chima Agbo to youth development and education.
In his remarks, the High Chief further assured that he would closely monitor and follow up the programme to ensure that the funds are properly utilized for the intended educational purposes.
This noble gesture stands as a strong testament to responsible leadership, community service, and genuine investment in the future of the youths.
